Micro-Research

These micro-research projects grow out of Generator’s Artist-Producer Lab, where participants are given the time, space, and a small budget to dive into a question, idea, or area of curiosity of their choosing.

The projects are an opportunity to follow a hunch, investigate a gap, experiment with a new approach, or simply ask, “What if?” Each researcher determines what they want to explore and how they want to share what they discover.

Together, these projects build a growing body of knowledge shaped by the questions and experiences of independent artists and producers. We’re excited to share them here and hope they spark new questions, conversations, and possibilities of their own.
